Admissions

Farmhouse Montessori serves children 3-5 years of age. The “third year” or 5 year old year (depending on D.O.B.) is the Kindergarten year and children will be ready to enter 1st grade after this year.  The acceptance of an applicant is based on the child’s readiness for our Montessori program, determined by the teacher and parents. Children need to be toilet trained by their first day of school.

In our effort to create an educational environment true to the philosophy of Dr. Montessori, a reasonably even distribution of boys, girls, and ages is essential to the success of our classroom.  Farmhouse Montessori reserves the right to prioritize admission based on a child’s age and/or gender. Farmhouse Montessori does not discriminate based on race, gender, nationality, ethnicity, or religion.

Schedule and Tuition:

The Montessori Farmhouse school year follows the Ferndale public school calendar and runs from September through June of each year.

3 Day Class: 

Mon/Tues/Wed 8:50-11:45am, $375.00 monthly (10)

or $3750.00 per school year

4 Day Class: 

Mon. – Thurs.  8:50–11:45am, $425.00 monthly (10)

or $4250.00 per school year

OptionalLunch time:   Mon. – Thurs. 11:45am-12:30pm, $8.00 per day.

*Tuition is payable in 10 monthly installments.

Procedure:

· An application for enrollment may be requested by phone, or picked up at a school tour.

· An individual tour is scheduled

· The application & enrollment agreement is completed and returned

· The student is placed in a classroom based on availability or placed on a waitlist

· Notification of placement will be done by phone.

A non-refundable enrollment fee of $50.
